The GED: True Hollywood Stories
We all know that there is more than 1 path that can be taken to achieve educational success. In this “hustle and bustle” world that we live in, there are more and more people from all over the United States who have had to pursue a job or career first, which as a result, would make an education become an afterthought.
In fact, some of the names of these previously mentioned people, who chose this path to grab a career first and go back to receive their GED later on, are quite impressive and are more well known than you would think.
We have all heard of the brilliant comedian, actor and scholar Bill Cosby. Well it turns out that Bill was a high-school dropout who later went on to earn his GED degree. He finished his studies while in the U.S. Navy and after being discharged, Bill attended Temple University on an athletic scholarship. He later received a master’s degree and a doctorate in education from the University of Massachusetts.
